Having a background in business, Jules enthusiastically chose to leave her current position on Beacon Hill, to join and grow Chive properly. As partners, Lindsey, Jules & I have made Chive more than just a vehicle for sharing sustainable food with our community. It has evolved into a mission for education, social responsibility and a way for us to share the passion with our community.
Cheers,
Lindsey Wishart & myself, Jennifer Frost, first met in 2002 while studying design in Beverly, MA. It wasn’t long after that we began spending endless hours at our favorite local coffee shop, Atomic Cafe. The topic of conversation always had it’s way of coming back to our community & what it was missing . . . good food & quality ingredients from sustainable sources.
Our passion evolved into what Chive is today. We quickly found that a strong business needed more than simply passion for food and design. We were lacking the knowledge of how to run and operate under a realistic business model. Lucky for us my sister Jules had been in the kitchen prior to every event, trying our food and sharing in the excitement for our growing business. She saw our strengths and with them our weaknesses.
